Spotify (SPOT) is expected to raise subscription prices in the U.S. during the first quarter of 2026, according to a Financial Times report citing people familiar with the matter. This would mark the platform’s first price increase since mid-2024.

New Pricing Expected to Begin Next Week

Media reports indicate a $1 monthly hike, taking the Premium plan from $9.99 to $10.99.
The change is reportedly scheduled to take effect next week.

Global Price Adjustments Already Underway

In August, Spotify raised monthly prices in multiple international regions — including Europe, South Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific — from €10.99 to €11.99.
