Getty Images Signs AI Partnership with Perplexity

Getty Images (GETY) stock skyrocketed 54.23% to $3.10 in Friday pre-market trading following news of a major collaboration with Perplexity, the San Francisco-based AI search engine firm.

The companies announced a global multi-year licensing agreement that will integrate Getty’s extensive library of creative and editorial images into Perplexity’s AI-driven search and discovery tools.

Enhancing Attribution and Visual Discovery

According to Getty, the partnership focuses on improving image attribution and expanding access to high-quality, properly credited visual content within Perplexity’s platform.
