General Dynamics Secures Major German Defense Contract

General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) announced on Monday that its European subsidiary has been awarded a €3 billion ($3.5 billion) contract to deliver next-generation reconnaissance vehicle systems to the German Army’s Reconnaissance Corps.

The contract was granted by Germany’s Federal Office of Bundeswehr Equipment, Information Technology and In-Service Support (BAAINBw) and represents one of the largest modernization efforts for Germany’s land forces in recent years.

$1.25 billion IT support contract for the U.S. Army in Europe and Africa
