Anthropic and Google Discuss Massive Cloud Partnership

Anthropic PBC (PRIVATE: ANTHRO) is reportedly negotiating a major cloud-computing deal with Alphabet’s Google (NASDAQ: GOOG, GOOGL) that could be valued in the high tens of billions of dollars, according to Bloomberg, citing people familiar with the talks.

The potential agreement would give Anthropic access to Google’s tensor processing units (TPUs) — specialized chips designed to accelerate large-scale machine-learning workloads — and significantly expand its AI infrastructure capacity.

Expanding a Deepening Partnership

The plan, which is not yet finalized, would make Google both a strategic investor and cloud-service provider for Anthropic.
